About Our Access Center

Youth Elemento is a drop-in access center that supports young adults ages 16-26 from the Metro Boston area.

Our program strives to break the stigma surrounding mental health by empowering the youth’s voices and providing culturally appropriate support.

Youth Elemento is a low-barrier center which means that no referral, insurance, or mental health diagnosis is required. Our program is designed to bridge the gap between youth needs and mental wellness.

Peer mentors are available at our center. They all have personal, lived experiences that they use to build and establish connections with young adults. Peer mentors also host support groups, provide leadership opportunities, and provide one-on-one mentorship for any youth that need support navigating the unique challenges within this period of their lives.

Our goal is to empower and instill hope for the underserved young adult population.
